Development, Construction & Infrastructure
Danya Cebus is Africa Israel's construction and infrastructure arm and has
been traded on the TASE since 2000. Danya Cebus leads some of Israel's
major infrastructure projects and also operates in Russia and Romania. The
company recently began operating in the US. Danya Cebus specializes in
building homes, highways and bridges, railway infrastructure, malls, offices
and commercial space.
Africa Israel Residences
– Under the exclusive Savionimbrand, the company –
traded on the TASE since 2006 – has developed unique neighborhoods including
shopping centers, schools, green areas, and sports and cultural facilities. The
company implements major projects with thousands of homes and is ranked
as Israel's largest, best and most reliable residential development company.
BOT & PFI Projects
– AFI Group owns Derech Eretz Corp. which operates
Road 6 (Cross-Israel Highway), Israel's first BOT project. Other BOT and PFI
operations include government office buildings in Tel Aviv.
Industries
AFI owns Africa Israel Industries (traded on the TASE since 1981), Israel's
largest steel group, which processes and markets steel, and Negev Group,
which leads in design and production of interior building finishing products
including Orgal, Via Arkadia, and Super Ceramics.
In 2013, construction of a new plant in Yerucham was completed, which is
expected to enter full operations in the first half of 2014. This will significantly
increase production capacity for porcelain tiles and will put the company on
the global technological cutting edge in the field of digitally printed porcelain
tiles. The plant will be environmentally friendly, energy efficient, and will
recycle all raw materials used in the production process.
Tourism & Leisure
Africa Israel Hotel Chain holds the franchise to manage and operate Crowne
Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels in Israel. The company manages and operates
1,916 rooms in 8 hotels in Israel.
